We are currently looking for a Specialist, Ops, Unit SAP to join our Unit Purchasing team based in Newark, New Jersey. Reporting to the Senior Regional Controller, the SAP Coordinator will be responsible for the distribution and data entry of Bill of Materials, SAP Customer Master Information Records, SAP Purchasing Information Records, and SAP Production Planning Bill of Materials.

THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT POSITION.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Validation of SAP information
Updating Bill of Materials and Vendor information records
Running daily production programs
Entering waste and substitutions into the system
Evaluating daily exception reports
Distribution of SAP reports to appropriate personnel
Unit point of contact for all master data changes and vendor request, submitting these changes to the appropriate contact.
Responsible for coordination of SAP related physical inventory activities
Responsible for cross training other unit employees on all SAP related functions associated with the purchasing.
Ensure forecast is run weekly and verify accuracy of data – includes flight schedule changes and menu cycle changes.
Assist Unit Buyer in other related purchasing tasks as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in data entry, data management, or administrative role required
Minimum of 2 years of SAP accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required •Experience in sales, customer service, or as a buyer highly preferred.

Job Skills:
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong customer service skills, dedication to excellence, and strong work ethic.
Excellent time management and attention to detail skills required.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skill required.
Candidate must be comfortable with all levels of employees and have the ability to drive positive program change.

This position is a core team member of the SAP implementation initiative team. This individual supports global design, realization, implementation and support using SAP.

The business analyst will partner with users and implementation partners to plan, conduct, and direct analysis of business problems to be solved within an SAP environment and work with the technical team to translate business requirements into technical design specifications. The individual must maintain system integrity by following proper testing and documentation procedures using tools-based testing and transport systems. This role will provide support to the global super users and business process teams with major emphasis on several SAP. This position requires resolving technical problems with all area issues as well as managing the integration points with other SAP related modules, and will act as a single contact point for problem management.

- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed processes and systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

Minimum 5 years of business analyst related experience.

- Minimum 5 years experience in design and configuration in SAP FI/CO/PA 4.6 or higher.

- Minimum 3 years experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.

- Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) is a plus.

- Functional experience in the financial operations is preferred.

- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling.

- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

- Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and applications.

- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts.

- Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language.

- Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products as required.

- Experience with core software applications, such as ERP, CRM, PLM, BI, etc.

- Demonstrated project management skills.

- Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
