SAP POS Configuror – Lead to be responsible for the configuration of SAP POS to meet requirements. This position will perform initial configuration and post implementation support for an international roll-out SAP POS 2.1. This will include meeting with business representatives to determine and document business requirements, creating the test plans, performing the POS configuration and executing system tests. SAP POS version 2.1 consists of the following components:
· SAP Transactionware General Merchandise
· SAP Centralized Electronic Funds Transfer
· SAP Returns Authorization
· SAP Stored Value Program
SAP Enterprise POS familiarity is a plus. Additional responsibilities:
Mentor and lead team of POS Configurors
Communicate with business regarding configuration and retail processes
Provide input for future work regarding the capabilities of SAP POS.
Learn integration touch points with Retail Systems.
Communicate with the entire team recent or proposed changes to the Retail area and related processes
Required Experience
Excellent communication skills are required in order to communicate with international teams, non-SAP technical colleagues and other business colleagues. These skills will be utilized via e-mail, telephone and face-to-face meetings several times each day.
5 years POS configuration experience.
2-4 years SAP POS (Triversity Transactionware General Merchandise) experience (preferred)
2+ years experience interfacing with SAP Retail (preferred)
2+ years of leading a team; experience as a dedicated lead
Travel anticipated 5%
