Global SAP Active Suite Practice Leader

Objective of the position Responsible GLOBALLY for the sales and delivery of business opportunities in the transportation management and xApp offerings. Development of long-term business relationships compliance with income, profit and client satisfaction goals in his/her account portfolio, making endeavors for establishing professional relationships with the C’Level. The role will require strong business development and sales activities of logistics/supply chain related to large enterprises, and will require a strong partner relationship with SAP. Simultaneously, will lead the practice including staff management and offering and solution development.
Main Activities: • Must have an understanding of track & trace technology
• Must have experience with logistics intensive industries
• Must have an understanding of logistics/ supply chain and if possible within TMS (TPVS)
• Coordinate offering and solution design.
• Propose sales process strategy
• Develop proposals
• Detect business needs or significant influential factors in clients, transforming them into account plans.
• Create and review professional fees calculations, as well as cost of proposals and discounts (according to the prevailing policy)
• Negotiate changes in the project’s scope, guarantees and non-billable work (UFAS)
• Coordinate progress meeting with the Management Committee and propose preventive actions to eliminate possible deviations and guarantee client satisfaction and account profitability.
• Manage partnerships with suppliers, strategic partners, and outsourced staff.
Other Local Activities:
SAP ActiveSuite industry leader, responsible for executing strategy in the logistics/supply chain market, focusing on expanding and leveraging the current client SAP base and creating new opportunities for consulting and integration projects with ActiveSuite customers. Also:
• Needs to have the ability to push, hunt, and farm accounts
• Must have previous experience within logistics, transportation/ distribution as well as Supply Chain
• A technical background in SAP is preferred
• Should have TMS experience
• Warehouse Management experience is a plus
